Home Remedies For Acne

Very often I’m contacted and asked what is an acne cure or the best acne treatment.

Here’s the thing…. its not that acne skin care products don’t work its just that acne sufferers are usually looking in the wrong place for their acne cure.

I’ve found that one of the best home remedies for acne is getting rid of milk in the diet.

Acne occurs when steroids (androgens) stimulate the sebaceous glands within the skin’s hair follicles. These glands then secrete an oily substance called sebum. When sebum, bacteria and dead skin cells build up on your skin, the pores become blocked, creating a pimple.

I mean what do you expect when teenagers combine their own surging hormones with dietary saturated animal fat, cholesterol, steroid hormones, dead white blood cells, and cow pus, they’re gonna get zits.

It doesn’t matter if you consume it in a glass by itself, a glass with an “instant” breakfast, with cold cereal or in another form of dairy as in yogurt, it’s still contributing.

Did you know that cow’s milk contains many allergins, not to mention over 50 hormones as well as fat and cholesterol?

You’ve probably heard from the Dairy Industry that milk is Mother Nature’s perfect food.

That is true. But it’s only true for a calf until it’s weaned!

Notice I didn’t say anything about humans?

Now don’t get me wrong, consuming cow’s milk is not going to kill you.  It will however contribute to ill health in MANY different ways. I won’t get into EVERY way, but it’s truly amazing what people will not give up, to rid themselves of common ailments.

Sometimes it’s as simple as getting rid of milk consumption.

Need some proof?

Here is an exerpt from The Townsend Medical Letter, 1995: “In reality, cow’s milk, especially processed cow’s milk, has been linked to a variety of health problems, including: mucous production…and allergies.”

And how about this one: “Dairy products may play a major role in the development of allergies, asthma, sleep difficulties, and migraine headaches.”

Israel Journal of Medical Sciences 1983; 19(9):806-809 “The same is true for acne. Acne can very often be eliminated by getting rid of milk in the diet.”

The ‘cure’ can be as easy as saying no to milk!

If you drink alot of milk, you might want to re-think that practice. If you have a suffering adolescent, consider making some healthy changes.

How about mass quantities of pure water instead!?

I could go on and on.  Do you have acid reflux?  That’s another subject, but there is evidence available that suggest this also could be related to dairy consumption.

Consuming limited quantities of dairy products may make a difference. But if you do suffer from allergies, acne etc… then it just doesn’t make any sense to drink it at all.

Your best course of action of acne help is to help yourself by eliminating milk for 90 days and see what happens.
